I love Lulu as an additional character! While the mystery was a little weaker and less interesting, the characters were developed more and the humor was even better.
Moving on up the series... I listened to this one on my way back from Kelley's Island!
As with all of the Stephanie Plum series, there are some great gems in this book. I love the character of Mo and the dual sides to his personality (I won't go into details because of spoilers). The interaction between Stephanie and Joe is always fun. Lula following Ranger around because she thinks he's a superhero is hilarious! I won't say that the stories teach me any great lessons, but they are fun and entertaining, which is what I look for in a series. Keep writing Janet!
Still sick, still the abridged version (the unabridged wasn’t available from my library). The cuts were more noticeable this time, but it was still a romp.
This is my favorite Stephanie Plum book so far! I was much more engaged in the story than I had been before. Poor Stephanie goes through so much. Everything that can go wrong tends to do so, but somehow she always ends up making things work out. This story touches on the "good ol' boy" network of her town and I thought the story was was great. There's not much more to say because it's all pretty much been said before, but I can't wait to see what she gets into next.

This has been my least favourite of the series so far but still very enjoyable.
There was a lot of Lula in this and i have to say i'm not a huge fan of hers, she's just a little to full on for me.
Having said that, i feel like things are maybe starting to progress with Morelli and and this makes me very happy and excited to pick up the next book in the series.
This are quick, easy, enjoyable reads and i look forward to continuing the series.

Pretty good, but not as funny as the previous two.
Not my favorite of the books so far but still really good. It seemed like it could have been about 100 pages less and you wouldn't have lost any details....... but it definitely had its moments. I'm happy to see Lula in a much bigger role. She is hilarious.
