Janet Evanovich's series of Stephanie Plum books are just plain fun! Yes, they are predictable that Stephanie will get in a bind, will meet a hot guy, and will solve the case at the end of the day. Despite the predictability, you can't help but laugh all the way through. Easy and fun reads!
Full disclosure. I originally gave the books in this series 4 and 5 stars. Viewing the books from where I am now, I see all the problematic things going on here.
The more I read of this series the more in LOVE with it I get! This was the funniest one so far and had me laughing out loud most of the way through. Stephanie is one of those characters that if something can go wrong it will for her, but it makes for a great feel good, take me away from everything book.
JE has developed a great cast of secondary characters & she continues building their storylines perfectly. Absolutely love Grandma Mazur & Lula and the addition of Sally Sweet was priceless!

I prefer Grandma Mazur as the side-kick... Lula kind of annoys me... but still oh so fun to read.
Stephanie Plum never learns. The character doesn't change or grow...I won't read any more of these. I tried the first 3...
