So good! Literally only put it down to sleep and picked it right back up the next day.

One of my favourite comic series of all time. It's a rare thing when the art is so amazingly atmospheric and gothic, and the range of tones from entertaining to frequently tragic to mordantly funny means there's something in here for every variety of horror fan.
Moderate: Murder, Suicide, Animal death, Death, Cursing, Fire/Fire injury, Blood, Emotional abuse, Gun violence, Kidnapping, Stalking, Gore, Injury/Injury detail, Torture, and Violence

Introduction to my favourite artist ever. From the first panels Corben stood out to me.

Good collection of stories, but only a couple that edged towards great. A pretty chill read-through overall, in a good way.

Hellboy short stories, yes. I recommend Library Edition vol.2 as the best place to get them, but this is certainly a fine collection of fine stories.
-----
Hellboy, in particular Hellboy drawn by Mignola, is more suited to short stories than it is greater stories, for my enjoyment anyways. My biggest struggles with Mignola's signature style are identifying characters [apart from one another], and discerning what's actually happening in longer complex action sequences. Shorter, more concise stories solve both of these problems already.
And then, you know, they're great. Plus I'll never say no to more Bá and Moon!
