This book is an absolute godsend to anyone with hypermobility, especially if from a connective tissue disorder, who wants to start or continue their yoga journey.
I learned so much about my body, and my practice, in this book. Lots of dots started to connect, even things from decades ago that I didn't realise connected to hypermobility.
This book gives lots of practical advice on postures, styles, adjustments, and muscle activations, as well as quotes from teachers and practitioners with hEDS and HSD. This book made me feel like I wasn't alone.
Thank you so much, Jess, for such an amazing book. And thank you for recognising all the types of bodies that practice yoga, not just the ones we see in active wear commercials!

Minor: Chronic illness, Dysphoria, Eating disorder, Grief, Medical content, Self harm, and Sexual content
This book does mention several themes that may be distressing to some people, but it is always placed within context. The content is discussed in terms of "some people have this sort of trauma", and is based on the lived experience of the author and her practitioners.
