Is more like a 3.5, but we can't vote like that. The best thing I got from this book is the whole chapter of "Fuck politeness", that made my money's worth.

I haven’t listened to Karen and Georgia’s podcast in awhile, but listening to this on audio was comforting. I slipped back into their stories and their dynamic easily and this was an enjoyable listen. Definitely recommend on audio to get the full effect!

Not a fan. I hoped this book would be about crime and how to spot it or avoid it or some sort of psychology behind it. Maybe lessons these woman who have made a career out of talking about murder, have learned.  Parallels. Themes.

Nope. It was a collection of stories about their lives with random tag lines meant to be some sort of life strategy. There was some mention of crime here or there, but mostly just short stories about shit they did as kids.

Yes, it was funny at times. Yes, the first story and theme is one I think every woman at any age should read and live. But overall it was long winded and felt like they were trying to hard to create a book out of lives that just aren’t that interesting or deep. Something any one of us could write, but won’t, because no one cares.

I skimmed a good bit. I’d pass. There are far better advice books and far better crime books and this didn’t hit either mark.
