edit: this book deserves a better review than my screaming at how AMAZING this book was. Raw and enthralling, this book had me feel the entire emotional spectrum.
Bree and Sel are definitely building to have a beautiful relationship. I feel like Nick doesn’t know Bree the way Sel does at this point; angry and a warrior. It kind of reminds me of the Shatter Me love triangle (iykyk). I think they’ve shared parts of themselves with each other that they’ve never done with anyone else before.
That aside… How I hurt for Bree. I want her to have happiness like I need to breathe. She’s been so wronged. Her entire bloodline has been wronged. I don’t care if it’s not the message; she deserves some good ol’ revenge.

One of the best contemporary fantasy books I have read in last years, truly a thrilling and at times heartbreaking read.
Very intriguing. Lots of twists and turns. Reminded me of the Mortal Instruments a little bit. Ended on a cliffhanger so I will definitely be continuing the series when the next installment comes out!
