i was expecting romance mixed with a little suspense so i did not expect so much plot from this book?? i wanted romance but actually ended up very invested in the mystery part a lot more. since there's a lot of focus on the suspense, the romance ended up being a bit disappointing as i didn't see a lot of development in ways that would emotionally connect me to the characters... which meant i didn't care about them at all. but, the mystery kept me hooked, i did not expect such a dramatic first chapter and that really stunned me. for quite literally the first time ever, i was able to guess a bit of the mystery part and while this probably means the plot isn't THAT complicated, i was very proud of myself lmao.

anyways, this was an entertaining book and i don't think it's VERY memorable but it's still not a bad read!

I loved this book. It had the right amount of mystery and romance. I loved that the family surrounded her even when the they were apart and continued to fully support both of them.

WREN & HOLT HAVE MY HEART!! Omg their story literally broke me and then headed me. This series is freaking amazing. The mysteries tied in with the beautifully written love stories omg SO GOOD

The mystery was fun, I had a good time figuring out who it was, but the sidekick part had me surprised. I didn't particularly love the main characters, so I wasn't as invested in their story.
