Holy. Mother. Of. Jesus. Fucking. Christ.

WHAT. A. BOOK.

I had pretty high expectations when I read the blurb and hoped it would be good. Needless to say I FREAKING LOVED IT! Much better than what I hoped it would be!

WOW.

Seriously, just WOW.

Now, let me tell you what I loved about this book:

- The naughty comebacks. They were funny as hell!
- Andrew, of course! Who wouldn't?!
- The end. What an ending!! Holy hell! I didn't see THAT coming!

Just about everything I think.

This was definitely way too short but I loved it anyhow!

I really don't like serials and if this hadn't been available through Kindle Unlimited I don't think I would've picked it up. That being said, I did end up liking this installment, although it does leave on kind of a cliffhanger, which I guess is par for the course with serials. It was a quick read and enjoyable, but there wasn't anything here that really grabbed me.

Yeah this was a waste of an hour.

I understand that this is a serial, and only part one of three. But my golly was this predictable. Andrew Hamilton is suppose to be our hero, but really he is just an annoying a-hole who I really wanted to slap with a harassment lawsuit. Aubrey is suppose to be our heroine who annoyed the every loving snot out of me.

Within the 78 pages of this, there was no character development (not even slightly), everyone felt very one dimensional and one tone. I felt like I was reading the same scenario happen over and over in different variations.

All in all, I think its safe to say I wont be continuing this series/serial. Not worth the time.

0/10 would recommend.
2/10 story-telling
4/10 writing style
0/10 swoon worthy
0/10 Characters

too short and no updates on when the next one will be out! Grrr, I wish I would have waited until all 3 books were out.

I think the shortened format ended up hurting this story overall. I could tell it's part of a larger story, but I think some things get rushed in order to make sure it fits into this beginning segment. Plus my favorite thing about these books is the tension of two people falling in love. I like the unique circumstances - two people in love but they don't know the real identity of the other - but I think it just lacked those moments where the reader gets to see it happening even if the characters are still pretending.

Short and vague review because I went onto reading the others and I don't want to spoil anything if I've forgotten what segment it was in.
