Just reading Darkfever, is all.

Being crazy addicted to a book with school is one of the hardest things. My schedule followed as such:

Woke up like: Reading Darkfever
Get to school like: Reading Darkfever
Lunch breaks like: Reading Darkfever
Teacher shows up late like: Reading Darkfever
On the bus like: Reading Darkfever
Walking home like: Reading Darkfever

Yeah, my only friends were Mac and Barrons for the past few days, as you can gather.

P.S. Totally conflicted on whether or not to read Bloodfever anytime soon because as much as it was unputdownable, I honestly can't see the plot going in any crazy new direction...but if I'm wrong, that would be great. And besides...two characters...Oh, unless you count Fiona...lol.

I saw great reviews and thought I was in for a treat - well it's an understatement to say I was disappointed. I guess the main character, Mac, was spunky and had good depth and banter (I did highlight some of her quips, which made me giggle) but her male counterpart, Jericho, was as charming and endearing as a prison gate. His personality and relationship with the FMC (or rather the lack thereof) kinda ruined it for me, even though the investigation and the exploration of the fae world from Mac's perspective certainly was entertaining. I might change my mind and try book 2 in this series (I like a good mystery) but I doubt it.

elle woods meets jude duarte

dark & weirdly funny, with a charming narrator and less-than-charming everyone else. i love the contrast of the pink nails and freaky fae with a serious passion.

okay so maybe i’m like 15 years late on these novels but so far? really loving them

I wasn't sure what to expect with this book, but I found myself drawn in from the get go! It's the first in a series and I will definitely be looking forward to reading the others.
