Sat down and re-read this in one afternoon! Looking forward to the release of the final book in the series later this month! It was great to catch up with Mac and Barrons again! I've missed them!
3.5/5 this is not a good book and also one of the best books i’ve read. twilight if it was good. need jericho badly. and an urban fantasy that doesn’t make me feel like a complete idiot with world building. SO MUCH FUN
Surprisingly enjoyed this book a lot, even though it has creepy Faeries (Fae/Fay/Fey/whatever other version there is). Loved the main characters, and I was definitely glad to see Mac out of the stereotype. Barrons intrigues me! I need to know more about him.

Muchas chicas personas me recomendaron este libro/saga y me advirtieron que sería adictivo. Debo decir que estoy de acuerdo en gran parte con eso, pero también disiento.
Me gusto mucho la trama, es muy original, y la manera en que el libro esta narrado solo consigue que te sumerjas en la historia. Pero las primeras páginas se me hicieron muy pesadas y la protagonista contando detalles me cansaba. Cuando el libro toma ritmo, ya se hace imposible abandonarlo.
Sentí que el final fue muy abrupto y solté un grito de decepción en la última página. Fue muy introductorio y no se resuelve casi nada, aunque teniendo en cuenta la cantidad de libros que son, supongo que debo armarme de paciencia.
Por ahora, no tengo planes para continuar la saga, pero supongo que lo haré eventualmente. O tal vez no...

First book...just wow. I didn't ever want to put it down!! The story might be a little slow at some parts because to describing everything but overall amazing!
Good introduction into to a series that I suspect I'll enjoy and devour quickly. Mac is introduced into a whole new world and heritage that she didn't even realize she was a part of. While she is very much un-prepared for it, I'm looking forward to seeing her grow into her role. I'm trusting Moning will unveil this in a good way. I hope I'm not disappointed.
This book was entertaining, but it just took me forever to get through. I think it was my own ADD, though...it was an easy read. I think I'd rather read the Black Dagger Brotherhood! Rebecca Dornsife, do these get better?
It wasn't all bad, there were some funny moments and the plot was mildly interesting at times, but the protagonist is stupid bordering at brain-damaged and many things happen instantly (like how suddenly she's a black belt and kicks Fae ass). Other than that, I think it mainly reads as the pilot of a series the actual plot of which starts with episode 2.
Kinda pervy, kinda fun, super fast read. Good characters, I'll read the next one.
