This book was spicyyyy. The plot twists were pretty interesting. I hated how they immediately threw her aside when they thought she betrayed them though. So controlling. My favorite was Xander because he’s like a golden retriever type. I don’t usually like those types compared to the dark brooding but at least he wasn’t insanely toxic. This is my first time reading a why choose where they cross swords ⚔️ but it wasn’t bad.

My first experience with 'Why Choose' romance and I loved it! I think it does help that the they're not just with her but with each other as well, and, between us, the guys scenes are the hottest. I just thought the most interesting part of the plot about Lily only arrives in the second half of the book and I wish that part of the plot had started earlier. I also hated the miscommunication moment between the guys and Lily thah had me so angry!

I try to like billionaire/mafia romance/erotica and it’s just not for me. Despite genre not doing it for me, I disliked some of the characters’ vocab choices which took me out of the story… “f*cknuggets” and the continued use of the term of endearment “shorty” come to mind. Gave me the ick. Appreciated the “why choose” aspect here and the MM spice woven in very well. Thought the dynamic between the male characters was pretty good all things considered.
