This was so fun! I loved both Raven and Indy. They were so amazing and badass! Also that scene. Omg. I was half dead. Amazing book.

I enjoyed this book a lot, not least because I am an archaeologist and a woman. The characters are easy to like, and their conflict is well written (although I feel it dissolves too quickly? But I love angsty love stories, so that might just be a me thing). Loved the treasure hunt through Paris. A nice bit of lighthearted fun.

I adore these books!! India is a female Indiana Jones and Raven is the man who broke her heart but needs her help! Fake relationship, Mystery, espionage, archaeology and intelligent heroine!! What's NOT to love!!

It was fine, but honestly it's my least favorite Lenora Bell romance that I've read. There needed to be more than just clearing up a silly misunderstanding to bring these two together. I'd rather Daniel/Raven had really been a rogue, not just playacting. And Indy? Really? A female archeologist named Indy? But it was fine. Not memorable, but still a pleasant read.

I just finished this today, and O.M.G it was sooo good!!! I absolutely loved it! I loved the backstory that shaped the characters! I loved the chemistry and passion the main characters shared! I love how she never fails to draw you in quickly and doesn’t release you til the very end! This book had twists and turns that I didn’t see coming and made me feel like I was on quite the adventure! It’s a little heavier on the steam scale but I’m good with that! It’s not necessary to read any of the others first (however if you haven’t read any of her work you are missing out big time!). This author has definately become a must read for me and is one of favorites! Thank you Lenora Bell for sharing your talented writing and imagination with the world! 5 stars rating from me! (If I could go higher I would 😁😁😁😁)

This has vague Indiana Jones and friends to enemies to lovers vibes going for it.
We have India an archaeologist who has swagger and a sharp tongue to go with the dagger she carries, who hunts mostly for formidable women lost to history.
And we have Daniel aka Raven, who India believes to be a lazy, self-serving jackass, when he's really a spy for the crown trying to clear his fathers name.
Raven and India have been betrothed basically since birth, but when his father dies he's taken away to live with Sir Malcolm who sends him to "spy school", once he's finished he must push Indy away to protect her and they become bitter rivals. Until they are forced to work together.
This was such a fun, steamy story. I do love that Lenora seems to like putting in hints of voyeurism in her stories, I haven't seen that often in historical romance.

Was looking forward to this book based off the 1st book in the series and it surpassed my expectations.

This was insanely cute, in my opinion. Shakespeare, history, archeology, espionage & travel? Sign me up.
