Lovecraft seems to deserve both reputations - as the originator of some really interesting lore, and as incredibly racist

very racist, boring and not particularly scary

Lovecraft woke up one day and said what if all of the people of color on the earth (+ the Irish & Jewish people) belong to a huge demonic conspiracy that will result in the downfall of white men and that's why they don't deserve rights.

I listened to the audio version of this book - I really enjoyed the narrator's voice. Sometimes it was a bit hard to follow, but all in all a good intro to HP Lovecraft. Call of Cthulhu and The hound were my favourites. :)

Imaginative at first, I found the stories quickly got quite repetitive after a while. If you are interested in Lovecraft, I would recommend reading the Call of Cthulhu and leaving it at that.

Si me gustaron los cuentos de Lovecraft pero si encontré algunos muy largos que llegaba un momento en que me aburria, porque toda la acción comenzaba hasta casi el final :/
