I absolutely adored this!! coco mellors alows us a glimpse into each of these characters' lives and weaves such a sweet little universe of people whose paths are forever connected ; like stars shooting across the sky, briefly winking at one another - like a descent of starlings flying apart only to swirl back to each other

I really wanted to like the book but it did not quite hit the mark for me. Some of the prose was beautiful but I found myself often thinking it was a little too pretentious? Some sentences just felt like they would’ve done numbers on tumblr and not in a good way. While the book made fun of its stereotypes it still fell into many of them in a way that did not seem ironic.

It's boring me to death and I don't care about the characters, maybe I'll revisit in in the future (stopped at the start of chapter 8)
