If I have to describe this book in one word, then it would be “insightful”. There are a lot of things that I’ve learned from her and her experience as a person, mother and as a first lady. Her story is quite America centric so there are a few references that I don’t relate with. But overall, this book gives me a really good understanding of how to become a light in spite of challenges that come up in my life.

I enjoyed this side of Mrs. Obama. I feel inspired learning the lessons from various eras of her life and reassured about the importance of recommitting to “Going High” but still staying outraged.
