This has got to be one of the best young-adult thrillers I have ever read. I never saw the plot twist in this story coming. It has just the right amount of normalcy, and just the right amount of thrill that makes you question yourself and everything you've known. I would definitely recommend it and read it again and again and again.

This, honestly, was a pretty good book.
I was engaged and wanted to know more about what was going on with "Crazy Cate" and all the terrible things she was doing.
And the twists in it were really good. I mean....I never would've guessed the ending. Not even with all the clues leading up to it.
I found a huge disliking of Jamie toward the end of the book, probably because of everything that happened...at first I felt sorry for him, like this scared, worried, young man really had the weight of all his crazy sister's actions on his shoulders and that he had to make up for everything she did. Now....not so much.
A good, short, fast paced read!

I wasn't sure what category to put this book into. Great for discussion on unreliable narrator. Felt clunky at times.

Wow, this was really intense. I've been staring at a blank review box for a few minutes. IDK what else to say. On one hand, the ~twist~ was broadcast pretty heavily, but then it wasn't really about that?
It's definitely a page-turner and should appeal to teens who like dark thriller-type books.

Wow.
That was a lot better than I thought it would be.
And as always,
Very well done.

Holy shit.
You know exactly what the truth is pretty early on because, you know, you KNOW. But the thing is, the story's brilliant about how it gets there.
Longer review to come. I loved Charm & Strange and its exploration of mental illness. I love Complicit even more...for the experience of mental illness.
