What the fuck did I just read. I did not like this. Well okay I liked it a bit, but only for the first half. After that, I felt dumb. I felt like the author kept repeating themselves and was piling metaphor upon metaphor and I was just choking on all the fine arts and poetic overtones. Like I get it, itβs a fine arts program but was it trying to be pretentious on purpose? Or was it ironic??
Such a cool concept but dang it lost itself pretty quickly and I had to skim the last 100 pages. This should have just been a short story.

If you just read part 1 and part 2 you'll be thinking um it's intense but like it's fine part 3 let me tell YOUU I was tense on the edge of my seat I hatteeeddd it but in a good way it was so difficult to read.
Definitely don't read this if you don't like an unreliable narrator, Samantha is like the most unreliable narrator ever but I loved it. I questioned so much what was real and you can really see the shift of how she sees the world throughout the book, and it definitely feels like you're living through it with her, it's crazy.
