 I have mixed feelings on this book? There's some cool modern fantasy/fairytale stuff in there, but it's also written in a very clumsy fanfic style at times? There is SO much laboured, cheesy description, it can be a lot. The writing flipped between pretty good and really bad randomly. The main character is also quite insipid, and very much embodies the "I'm not like other girls" trope. Overall feels very cotton candy, with mild body horror and gore mixed in. I did, however rly enjoy the fun being picked at academic creative language.
