"If you confront anyone who has lied with the truth, he will usually admit it - often out of sheer surprise. "

This was published in 1934, but reading it, you wouldn't have known. It has aged incredibly well!! The Murder on the Orient Express is in all sense of the word a classic. I love an original whodunit. Seeing the inner workings of the detective Hercule Poirot mind was fascinating. It was fun following along and trying to piece the story together.

The only negative is that I committed the crime of watching the movie first, so it kind of ruined the ending for me. I'm definitely going to have to give Agatha Christie another try reading one of the books that haven't been made into a movie.

No me esperaba ese final para nada. Al principio es un poco difícil recordar todos los personajes. Pero me aburrí un poco y me costó terminarlo.

This was the first book I've ever read of hers, and it was the one that made me fall completely and madly in love with her style of writing and with everything that she represents.
