Not for me. I found this extremely boring and forcing myself to pick it up just to doze off as soon as I start reading.
Bumping this up from 4 to 5 stars because it's such a page turner! Great thriller to read on vacation when you have a lot of time to just enjoy the twists of the story, and story within a story.
Fun little twisty situation. I didn’t find it as enthralling as many other readers, but it was def engaging. The twist was very obvious to me, but that makes me think it was intentional, and the reason why may have gone over my head.
It is bold to write a book about an author that stole a "can't lose" novel plot from an author who is now deceased and that plot isn't even the plot of your novel! It wasn't clear if that plot would be revealed to us in the book, spoiler, it is. This book is a slow burn, until the end when it all comes to light with speed. The antagonist kind of had me rooting for them at the end, like, yeah you can't steal someone's life story, and beneficent form it, but then I'd remem er oh yeah you've killed 3 people already....you're not great.

This was good. I knew where it was going but I still enjoyed it. The ending was NOT what I expected.
Could not get into it. Main character was irritating and the third person switch was off putting? Too many books to read to waste time on this one.
