A lot of book with little action. Good set up, but get on with it!

This is very much a case of having more ideas for something than will fit in the allotted space. Otherwise: enjoyable!

This had the potential to be so much better than it actually was. It is intriguing enough where I would have loved to have had it as an ongoing series and given it the opportunity to get better. It's labeled as a miniseries, but it seems like it was a pilot setting up for a whole series that didn't get 'picked up by the network'.

I liked the art, but the story was almost boring in its simplicity.

Initially gave it 2 stars, but after thinking about it, 1 is enough. It is rare that I give 1 star, but I concluded that this deserves it. The characters we are supposed to root for are bad people. Genuinely evil, mass murderers people. And you're supposed to root for them and against those trying to stop them because "patriarchi".

Nothing like a bloody, witchy version of Stepford Wives. This is well written, beautifully illustrated and has excellent tension and pacing. I heard about this on the Reading Glasses podcast and I'm so happy I did!

Well, that was fun. I actually wish it had been paced a little slower though. The intro was A Lot and I felt a bit overwhelmed, but I thought the book really shined once it got into its weird Stepford Wives, isolated-gaslight-women groove. I think the slow dawning horror and realization of their situation was really the best part of the book and the peeling back of layers and lies was really exciting and fun. But then they kinda blew the doors off the whole story and things started moving WAY too quickly and got super chaotic immediately. All the atmospheric dread and careful buildup was pretty much exploded right away and I wish it had been drawn out a bit more.

But it was still a really fun comic and I do recommend it. Just be aware that the pacing is a little crazy.
