Interesting look into a child star. Choppy writing and very short chapters. Wasn’t bored, wasn’t enthralled. After finishing, I just felt neutral hence the 3 star review

McCurdy's story is honest, gripping, and terribly sad, yet she tells it in a way that's compelling, interesting, and often funny. This book is full of vulnerability and does an excellent job of conveying the experience of abuse and psychological disorders. I wish I could read it for the first time again and again.
