I've missed Sharona. And this has been my favorite book in the series so far.

I'd recommend the book to anyone who enjoys the show and is looking for a book version.

The author has been a writer for the show, so the adaptation to book is pretty seemless. Like the show, you know or can easily guess who the murderer is, but the story is more about the unraveling of "here is how he did it" by the obssesive compulsive detective. Bringing back the old assistant Sheronna who abruptly left the show was also a nice tie-in.

If you are not a regular watcher of the show, I don't think that the book stands as well on its own.

Andrew if you say one more word against mr monk you’re getting blocked fr

While this was a great story, I guessed the killer as soon as we were introduced to him. Just like Ludlow gave it away in the first few chapters, so does Goldberg.

Another great monk read.

These books are just fabulous and I love them - this one was just as great. Witty, wise and very human. Can't wait for the next one.

Not as funny as the TV show, but still many laughs. Loved having Natalie and Sharona in a story together. Wish they would do that on the show...

I think I would have enjoyed the book even more if it was from Monk's point of view instead of Natalie's, but I still really enjoyed it.
