First of all, I adore the cover. I love all the elements of the you see on the cover that make even more sense after reading the novel.

This was charming and sweet. The message of helping others is something we need nowadays, so that I appreciated. I enjoyed getting to know both Abby and Sara in their respective timelines, as well as reading about how they overcome the challenges of their day. It truly is a lovely story.

There's quite a bit of swearing, plus there is mention of some things I don't necessarily agree with, so that keeps me from giving a full 5-star review, but other than that, the content is clean. At the end of it all, I would still recommend this book to those who enjoy modern stories with a little twist of magic.

This is a beautiful and well-written story with a touch of magical realism. It follows the lives of Sara and Abby; two Jewish women with a unique ability of being able to find a souls other half. While this book isn’t technically a romance, it is romantic in a sense that these women have been responsible for numerous love matches spanning over decades.

Oh my goodness! I loved this sweet story!! It was magical and heartwarming and had a touch of historical fiction woven in. It has  dual timelines, one is the grandmother, Sara and her timeline starts in 1910. The other is her granddaughter Abby, set in 1994. Both timelines are set in New York City and delve into the Jewish culture and the importance of matchmaking. I love reading books where I learn about Jewish culture. I grew up in the Midwest and don’t know anyone of the Jewish faith so Jewish customs, foods and traditions fascinate me.
This really was such a feel good story. I loved the characters and themes of family loyalty.

A decent read that is well-researched. This one is too “fluffy” for me but it didn’t bore me.
