" Have you ever been so aware of someone that your whole being reacts to them? Like you can't control it? -Well this is me with the Kings of Alstone College also know as THE FOUR.
Cassius, Weston, Zayde and Caiden are The Four and let me tell you that they will rule your hearth(HOT, POSSESIVE, ALPHA MALES that will leave you all hot and bother all over).
The story begins with Winter coming to Alstone college in a quest for answers to her father's death, this is where she mets her future tormentors but this won't stop her with her plans.
So many twist and turns, this books took me through an emotional rollercoaster know as The IV, so many sections I had to re-read because I wanted to find clues to the answers I was looking for.
Enemies to lovers, bully romance, forbidden step siblings romance, mystery and lies that need to be discover-I was in book heaven and towards the end of the story which ends in a cliffhanger I was YELLING , because that ending was WOW (I didn't want this book to end)
Excellent job Becca because this book it so different from her previous ones but its also amazing as the other ones.

This was a surprise. I really enjoyed this book. The tempo and feel was perfect.All the characters instantly attractive in one way or another and the story intricate and interesting. Great writing. Nice to meet you Becca Steele

I had wanted to dive into Caiden and Winter's story for a couple years now. I didnt really read Becca's books in order and wanted to see what these 2 MCs were about.
I usually don't like cliffhangers much but I own the first 3 books so not waiting to know what will happen makes it more enjoyable.
So, here are my thoughts about TLWT
I Liked the intrigue. I like when there's mystery to solve and when it got darker, it really griped me.
However...
The start of the love story was just ok. It was nothing I have not read before so nothing really stood out that much for me. Many chapters felt a little rushed and left me wanting more plot/character development. I also wanted to feel Caiden's hotness in the description of his actions, not just be told he was hot. Not sure if that makes sense?
One thing though that I want to give praise to the author is the way she never makes her FMCs annoying. I was rooting for Winter the whole time. I'm hoping now that the characters have been presented, that the story/relationships will explode in the next 2 books.

Wow, this book pulled me right in and now I have to wait to find out what happens. However, Caiden and Winter are worth the wait. Winter's life has been upended and is determined to find out the truth, whatever it takes. Caiden and his crew run the university and can make someone's life difficult, they are trying to find out their information and get caught up in trying to figure out Winter. Caiden and Winter will pull you in with their hot/cold moments and leave you wanting to know what will finally happen between these two. This story is filled with twists and turns and an emotional rollercoaster that will leave you sitting on that final ascend of the ride and you will be waiting to see how this ride ends. I cannot wait for the next book to come out, it can't happen fast enough. Read this book, you will not be disappointed.
