Seriously, trust every review that says “do NOT judge this book by its cover it’s so good!”

My only complaint was that the Hedonism aspect didn’t have more of a starring role and now I want a novella (at the very least) featuring Yulenna and the Spidae!!

Excellent worldbuilding. I’m kinda glad certain things (like how Faith could understand everything despite technically not speaking the language) were left unexplained? It allowed me to come up with my own theories since in-universe the portals and humans from earth are still unknown/haven’t been studied. So of course there’s no immediate explanation. Although it wasn’t acknowledged either lol

Overall, it was a fun read.

Oh, also, this one’s a thicc boy so proceed with that in mind!

Listen... Ruby Dixon novels are my palate cleansers and this did not disappoint. This is a cute concept, not too heavy, and had me chuckling. Im not saying its peak literature, but it was really fun and good!

I was hesitant to try this one due to the cover, but I'm glad I did! I had so much fun reading about Faith and her misadventures in fantasy misogyny land. I loved her bickering with Aron. He started out a massive dick and ended still a dick, which I enjoyed. I really liked how even though arrogant Aron is completely full of himself, his attitude is pretty deserved. I also liked how he slowly became more affectionate and thoughtful through his experience traveling with and protecting Faith. Some of Faith's dialogue did feel a little dated.

I honestly love this book so much, that I cannot function like a regular mortal right now. I'm trying to read the final book in a set for my sister' book club. I read this to fill a gap while waiting for them to catch up.
I have more free time with which I read fast and fiercely and now we are on our final set book club book, they are nearing the end and I can't concentrate on it. (Sorry KoA I love all 900+ pages of you) but It's Gods over Fae for my heart right now.
I just want more of my battle god! More imperious looks, more arrogance, more thunderous moods. More story. More, More, More.
This book will suck you right in and you will be forever bound & captivated to the wonder that is Aspects & Anchors. I laughed, I cried and I got the gooseys. I didn't want the book to end. Fully deserving of every star I give. So, thank you Ruby Dixon, for sharing this delicious world with us. I will devour the rest of the series. As well as any and all future offerings you release. Bound to the Battle God will remain amongst my favourite reads.

Took way too long to get from enemies to lovers. It’s also a slog to read through at the start but eventually gets really good near the middle. I almost DNF’d
