A perfect ending to a poignant high school journey. A mark for the new beginning of Lara Jean & Peter's story that we might not able to see but we can imagine. I love how despite being a YA novel, the theme and message are very mature. It's about saying goodbye to the old ways, hello to new beginnings. Make room for family. Bidding farewell. Having hope and letting go of fears.

As an Asian, I've always been exposed to the horrible side of American high school through movies. My school life was quite fun and I miss it a lot. But I've heard plenty of Americans say that high school is the worst. But this trilogy showed me a side that not all jocks are hot idiot bully, not all nerds are weird. I love how we don't get the cliche. This is a feel good story and I really appreciate it. At first this one feels like Lara Jean is just doing stuff but it all ties up nicely in the end. I actually avoided watching the trailer because some say it's revealed too much. But I watched the trailer after finishing the book and the trailer reveals so little so it's still safe.

I just want to thank Jenny Han, for taking me on this journey. Making me feel nostalgic of my school years. Especially in this time of uncertainty.

Awwww, what a cute ending to such a cute trilogy. I wasn’t ever sure what I would make of these books and what I would get out of them as they’re not my usual fare, but I’ve always enjoyed them when I’ve read them and I’ve come out the other side quite glad I’ve given them a go.

While this one is still as cute as the previous books, there’s a tension running throughout the story as Lara Jean and Peter rush towards the end of the school year and their futures.

I remember that tension well, and I remember how it made me feel, and I didn’t event have the boyfriend of the year to help me through it!

I think this is a good series for people who are of the same age as Lara Jean and Peter, to help them through what they might be feeling as they head towards the future waiting for them.

15+ For kissing, Swearing, mentions of sex, drinking, (and I guess what you would call emotional cheating?) throughout the entire series.

I don't want to write three separate reviews, so I'm lumping them all together for one gigantic summary. yay! So, let's just talk about the author because Jenny Han is an amazing author. Like I'm genuinely impressed with her writing, and it takes a lot to impress me. Her writing is complex, but fast-paced. Her characters are well rounded. Her plotlines were great (until they weren't). So let's get down to business.

The first book; amazing, five stars, loved it! Fake dating that turns into real dating? GIMME.
I loved Lara Jean's family dynamics and the way they interacted. It was so likable and relatable and had me wanting more.

Second book; amazing, five stars, loved it! Real dating turns complicated when new love interest joins the group. My sister hates John Ambrose, but he's a little dork, and it's not his fault that she was using him to emotionally cheat on Peter. That's all on my girl, LJ. Still, it was fun and fast, hence the five stars.

Third book; it was okay, didn't love it as much, but still really good! I didn't enjoy the movie either. I think it was the choices that Peter takes. Like okay I get it, you wanted to go to college with your girlfriend, but she got into a very good school, that she's excited to go to. Get over it. I understand he was kind of putting some his anger about his dad towards that, but still. I absolutely love that Jenny Han gave Lara Jean a nice little scene to call Peter out on his crap. I mean if we're being honest, Movie Peter had more to be upset about than book Peter. I mean Three hours vs 40? I don't even know what book Peter was complaining about.

Overall, the series was fantastic, and I will be recommending it to anyone who hasn't read it. I feel like it's a must a this point.

I just loved it, I'm kind of sad the story is over now haha

Gosh. This book was exactly what I needed tonight to distract me from the US elections. It was cute and honest, and by this third book, I’m invested in all the characters (except for Peter’s terrible parents). Lara Jean is a perfect mix of too old for her age and perfectly her age. Kitty, whom I didn’t like much in the first book, has turned out to be my favorite. Stormy was my second favorite. I wish she’d had more pages. Also would’ve liked more time with the girls’ maternal grandmother. I think these two have a chance to go the distance. Fingers crossed!

Muy lindo todo… Peter merece más, siento.

(warning: SPOILERS) Lara Jean is getting ready for college and has been pretty oblivious to the fact that she might not be accepted into UVA, which she isn't accepted into. I love her passion for baking and finding the perfect cookie. Her tension with Margot and somewhat fighting with Kitty is pretty realistic. I think that Trina and their dad moved way to fast (though the wedding is cute). Peter seems kinda awful throughout this book during their fights. I don't really like how they had a big fight but then all of a sudden make up. Also, they skipped over the Song sisters' trip to Korea?! I wanted to know more about the culture. I ultimately liked the ending though because it was cute.
