This book was definitely my favorite out of the three. Wow. I loved this series so much. Everything about it. I loved the characters, the setting, the coming-of age , I loved it all. Especially the character dynamics between Lara Jean and Peter, the family dynamics and everything in between.

This book was so cute. I thought it was going to be just romance and a continuation of their relationship, but I was pleasantly surprised when it was more than that. I liked how it talked about the struggle of making big choices and commitments, it made the characters and situations they were in seem much more real. I loved all the characters and I’m very attached to all of them now, so I’m sad for it to end. But i loved this series so much, id definitely recommend.

There's something so bittersweet about finishing a book about a girl going off to college as I am preparing to start my first semester in January

The perfect ending to Lara Jean's story. This conclusion had so many layers and a maturity to it.
Read the entire trilogy in less than 24 hours so I think that says it all.

my smol babies <33

It's official - all three books got 5 stars. This is a series that I immediately want to read all over again. Ohhhh how I love Peter.

Thoughts about how it ends...
SpoilerI wouldn't say the ending is "set in stone", because you never know what's going to happen to these characters in future with the challenges that will face their relationship being hours apart from each other, etc., but I'm glad they're starting out their "unknown future" on the same page.

The Song sisters are the best - I even warmed to Margot over time when she was at times the least likeable of the sisters. Kitty was definitely a little brat, but so entertaining! And I love Lara Jean's spunk. I can't relate to her love of baking, but Peter sure is a lucky guy! :P

I also love the supporting characters like Peter's friends and so on. And Chris became a more significant character in this one, and I liked where things went with her too.

Basically I didn't hate anything about these books and I want to read them again immediately! But I won't, because there's other stuff to get done.

I would give this more of a 3.5. For the final book in the series, I was really pulling for the characters. I know that the author was ready to close the chapter on writing books about Lara Jean, but I am just not done. I hate being left on a cliffhanger.

This is also one of the very few, very rare times, that I actually like the Netflix version better. I think there was just more passion in the movie.

4.25 stars!

It should be illegal to put a playlist at the end of the book without letting the reader know in the advance. Listened to random stuff all the way trough the book to find out at the end there's a playlist.

It makes me sad that we will never know how things continue between Lara Jean and Peter

Whilst I always enjoy reading a romancy, soppy story, I felt like this book was a bit 'meh'. I didn't end with that heart warming feeling that I have done with the previous books.

I'm sorry to say that when it came to the wedding Lara Jean wound me up no end. After LJ's dad and Trina got engaged, Lara Jean immediately tried to (unknowingly) take over and create the wedding of her dreams rather than focusing on the wedding that they wanted. Whilst she seemed to get the message later on and 'chill her beans' a bit, no one ever really had the conversation with her that she needed to take a step back or worked out why she was getting to wrapped up in the whole thing. It almost felt like because she is the creative one that bakes and is a bit more a homebody, she felt like she would be best placed to decide how the wedding should look. Her reaction came across as almost arrogant..

I also didn't feel like her and Peter reached any sort of resolution or moved forward. I was proud the she was sticking to her guns and going to the college that she wanted to go to but when she and Peter broke up it didn't feel like the changed. I'm not sure either of them really learnt anything from it or that their relationship developed in any way - maybe I missed something.

I guess I would say that I didn't really get the message of the book, I didn't understand the 'So What?'. In a way it came across that it was a third book just for the sake of making the series a trilogy.

Didn’t finish the first two books but I read this one for Peter Kavinsky. NOT DISAPPOINTED, THIS IS THE PETER IVE BEEN WAITING FOR.
Eternally grateful to Jenny for writing this sequel.
Also honestly the whole series (even if I wasn’t a fan of the first two), ‘cause the movie is giving me so much life rn
