I thought I wouldn’t mind that the illustrator changed, but it surprisingly changes how you view the story a lot.
I miss these books, I read them so much as a child & borrow this one out of nostalgia.
Fun to take a trip down memory lane with a reimagined version of my favourite series when I was a kid. I picked this up secondhand so I’ve read it out of order but I enjoyed the different format. I am quite shocked by the seriousness of the subject matter/way it is handled by the babysitters - clearly it must not have gotten a complete update from the original books, but maybe I’m wrong?
