This book was cute. Sophie Kinsella is my go-to author if I need a light, chick-lit read.
The last thing Lexie remembers is going out to a club with her friends. She wakes up in a hospital after a car accident. It turns out she has amnesia & lost several years of memories. Now she’s married to a very handsome, rich man, she’s the director at her job, she drives a nice car, has nice things (including a huge flat) & she’s had some dental work done as well as a new & improved physique. It seems like everything is perfect & most women would kill to wake up & have it all. But Lexie is missing her old life. Apparently she’s horrible to work for & her friends are no longer her friends. She’s not entirely sure what her husband & herself have in common. She loves carbs & misses eating chips. Is this the life she really wants? She also discovered she was having a secret affair & allegedly was about to leave her husband. She is trying to figure out what went wrong the past few years.
Cute SK read. Just like all of her books that I have read. :)

Going into this, I was expecting a British, albeit still hilariously well-done 13 Going on 30 in Sophie Kinsella style. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how much more grounded in reality the waking-up-in-the-future trope played out. More like The Vow, minus the tears and well, tears. Future Lexi's affair with Jon was a risky thing to do, violating certain moral codes no matter how romanticized their 'real' relationship was and bland perfect Eric was. That's why Lexi's decision when to also part with Jon when she leaves Eric redeemed the affair arc for me, as hesitant as I was to giving in.
The Porche deal felt especially convenient for that bow wrapped happily-ever-after where Lexi still has a booming job but with her three best friends instead of as a bitch boss known as the Cobra. But you know what, I don't really care when I was chuckling so late into the night. And also, sunflowers <3 <3 (so perverted, so sweet, so goals)
P.S. Bryon can go suck sour balls.

Picture your life as it is now – your appearance, personality, friends, your career, etc. Now, fast forward three years. Imagine that you wake up from a car accident and that person is gone. You are the same person, but at the same time, you’re not. The last three years of your life is missing, and you don’t recognize the person you are anymore. That is what happens to Lexi, the main character in Sophie Kinsella’s Remember Me?
I really enjoyed this book. It was a journey through Lexi’s experiences and feelings as she tried to re-discover just who she was and why she had changed so much. The characters were all well-written and dynamic – reading this book was more like watching a movie in my mind.
This is the first book I’ve read by Sophie Kinsella, but it definitely won’t be my last!

Funny and smart. As hilarious as Sophie Kinsella's Shopaholic series.
Wow I just whizzed through this book in one afternoon! I love Sophie Kinsella and this was another great book from her!
This book was brilliant! I loved it! Lexi losing her memory made a good story and how her life was portrayed as perfect three years later but after time the cracks began to show. It was a really funny read. As she learns more about her new self, chinks to appear in the perfect life. All her old friends hate her. But she has to put things right and find out what made her want to change herself so much and so quickly. I found it such a good book, it was hilarious and I would recommend it to a lot of people that like real life stories and someone who needs something to laugh about. After reading The Lovely Bones I needed a book that would make me laugh it this book did just that. Great book.

That was cute. Not nearly as mysterious as I expected. But it was cute.
As always Sophie Kinsella writes a cute funny chick lit that I enjoyed very much. Great quick read and kept me interested.
