Very soap opera-y so not typically my taste, but it was a book club pick. For a light-hearted read during the dark days of Winter it was a good pick me up.
Another good one from Kinsella! I'm giving this one 3.5 stars because while it was hilarious, and I thought the plot had some good twists, there were minor things that always get to me, like overusing certain phrases. But, still, it's a great light read. Despite it being nearly 400 pages I finished it in a matter of hours and really enjoyed the story!
Sophie Kinsella is the absolute best. I love each and every one of her books and she never fails to deliver.
Lexi’s been in an accident and she looses her memory of her last three years and her life which previously sucked is now amazing. She’s married to a hot multi millionaire and she has the most amazing career. What she later then discovers is that her life is not all that spectacular and she actually turned out to be a total bitch during those 3 years. She’s lost her close friends and she even has a secret lover. This book will keep you engrossed up until the very end. The story line is like all of the other Sophie Kinsella novels. But it’s worth the read and even for a re read after some time.

Like all of Sophie Kinsella's books, this is a little painful. Foreshadowing is strong, but the dialog is clever and the action is fast paced. Its painful because I know what's going to happen and the protagonist will be uncomfortable.
Overall, the British culture references make it really interesting and the story is really sweet.

it's very easy to describe sophie kinsella's books as fluffy chick lit. i don't think i'd disagree with you on that. however, her books are hilarious and remember me? is no exception. i laughed out loud on the bus reading this. it's much better than her last non-shopaholic book ([b:the undomestic goddess|33722|The Undomestic Goddess|Sophie Kinsella|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1168462711s/33722.jpg|2914]) and you actually begin to feel bad for lexi and her situation. it might not be intellectually stimulating and some people might be embarrassed reading it in public but there's nothing wrong with reading something fun.
Kinsella's books are always fun and frothy and perfect if you are looking for a light read. Lexi wakes up after an accident to find that it's a few years later than she thought and she is no longer is frumpy, plain, and single, but is beautiful, successful and married to a handsome wealthy man. She remembers nothing of the time between but is thrilled to have such a wonderful life--or so she thinks. This was a fun book that practically bludgeons you with a moral.
This book was excellent. I don't read very much but I fancied this one because the front cover was pretty!! After reading the prologue I just could not put it down. Never has a book made me laugh until now. I will be purchasing more of Kinsellas books I think she writes really well.

I really liked the premise of this book. I found myself wishing we saw a bit more romance in it. But I still really liked it and the characters.
2020 re-read
This book was good. I loved the audiobook and found the narrator funny and easy to listen to, I still found this book hard to read because of the cheating aspect. Although I did like both Jon and Lexi as characters. I even liked Eric, I just thought that he wasn't right for Lexi.

Light hearted and fun to read -just what I needed after a heavy week at work!
