I love Kinsella, but this wasn't her best work. Lexi loses three years of her memory and has to piece together just what happened in her life from 2004 to 2007, a period of time in which she got married and became a manager at her company. The ending was satisfactory, but the middle got a bit too bogged down with "this is not my beautiful house! This is not my beautiful stapler!" nonsense.
cheesy easy read that requires no brain power... this is not a bad thing but I probably won't pick up another

This was my first Sophie Kinsella book believe it or not! I've seen her books everywhere but I wasn't sure if I'd be into her writing. I thrifted this book over a year ago and have had it on my shelves unread since. There's been so many times I've considered taking it to a LFL or thrifting it, but something made me want to read it. Flash forward to now and I needed something light and fun. While this one definitely had some more serious themes (amnesia, toxic relationships, toxic work place, etc.) and the main characters were at times super ditzy and shallow and mostly unlikeable, it also had a secret romance I was rooting for the whole time. .
