I really enjoyed Shallow Graves! While the beginning isn't very fast-paced, it think it did an excellent job of setting up the faster parts of the story near the end. And I LOVED the bi representation in this book. The overall premise is what drew me in, and while Shallow Graves had some really unexpected turns, I enjoyed it.

I couldn't put it down. Who are the real monsters?

This book at first captured and held my attention, then lost me a few times to boredom, then kinda sorta caught my attention again, then once again lagged. It's one of those books that you can't really give up on because you're curious as to what happens next even though you don't really care. And then after you finish the book, all you can do is wonder what the point of it was.

I enjoyed this story very much. There were times where Breezy would start to babble in her mind, and I'd get a little lost, but it was easy to catch back up. Mother confused me a bit as well, but overall I really enjoyed this book, I think there could be more of Breezy's adventures. I would totally read them all! Side note I think lil miss bff Melanie should have been slapped at least once!

I'm on a roll. Two great books in a row!
This book reels you in. Breezy is such an awesome character... You wished that she lived to accomplish all her hopes and dreams. Go to college, see space.
The book grabs you from the beginning. Breezy is dead. She doesn't know how she got that way (or does she?). Just the memories leading up to her death.
We take a journey with Breezy as she hunts killers. She herself is hunted. While she comes to terms with what she now is and where to go from there. All while still holding on to her humanity. It didn't die when she did. Even dead, Breezy can feel fear and she comes close to losing the "life" that she has. Dead yet not.
Shallow Graves is creepy, and haunting.
It took me a while to discover this author and this great book. Now, I'm a forever fan.

I wanted to like this more than I did. There is nothing glaringly wrong with it, but I was hoping due to its subject matter and themes to like it better than I typically like paranormal novels. There are some interesting characters here, but the pacing is off and its a bit long in places. I felt rather disappointed with the end. It felt like a whole lot of journeying for very little pay off.

I adored the beginning of this, liked the ending, and checked out for most of the middle. The concept grabbed me, so did the protagonist, but the plot seemed to meander.
