I very much enjoyed the differences between this book and the first. It dives a lot more into the politics of London whereas the last book was set in Oxford. I enjoyed the continuation from the first book and I felt that the transition was smooth.
Series DNF at 20%. I didn’t like the love interest in book 1 and was hopeful it would change throughout the series. I spoiled it for myself in hopes it would change. Book 1 was pretty standard and Book 2 was better (so far) but knowing I don’t like the love interest it’s not worth continuing.
