This was good but wasn't breeding kink, which is what I went into it expecting. Maybe it became that after I DNFed (at 50%), but before that they did not have penetrative you know what because they agreed it would be a bad time for her to get pregnant. LoL. So, yeah, misleading title but writing wasn't bad and there were hot, emotional scenes in the beginning.

Helens husband Silas is a POS, there’s no other words for a man who sells his wife at auction, if she doesn’t sell, then her organs will. When Helens eyes land on a man in the crowd begging him to save her from a known murderer he does. The man who saves her is Lugh Conmac, the beast for the Irish Mob, Lugh has conditions for Helen though, she has to mother two sons for him. While she agrees to his terms she is always looking for a way out. When Lugh’s enemy tries to take Helen, Lugh gets injured. Helen decides to stay and help. Their gratitude and respect for each grows and when feelings get involved neither one is looking for an out.
I really enjoyed this one. I tend to like a lot of Siggy’s written. I think everything flowed well. I really liked how Helen & Lugh complimented each other, how Lugh didn’t just want to protect and steam roll her but accepted her as his partner.

I was surprised how different the plot went through , definitely staisfying. And the characters are good especially the MMC , I liked that he does not force the FMC to doing anything against her permission . The FMC's character is strong willed which is rereshing. All in all an enjoyable read.

I'm always blown away by Siggy Shade, but this one is my absolute favorite!! I loved the characters!! Although Helen finds herself in a horrible predicament, her strength and intelligence in unwavering. And I LOVED Lugh!! He has a reputation for being a Beast, but I loved the glimpses of vulnerability he unintentionally shows, little by little. He has a big heart and wants love, but doesn't think he deserves it. Helen thought she knew love, but after a horrible twist of betrayal, she's completely jaded and wants revenge. These two together are FIREWORKS!!! I loved every bit of this story! Watching these two fall for each other while serving up a whole heaping lot of revenge was addicting! I couldn't stop reading and was so sad for it to end. Very steamy and such a satisfying ending!!
