This book was the perfect amount of messy for me. I loved the stories and these women would struck back against lovers who had did them dirty. At times it was sad and I felt so, so angry and hurt for some of the characters but this sadness made their stories unique nonetheless.

As soon as I cracked this one open, literally LINE 1, I was like where are my tabs!!! This book is compiled of 12 stories of relationships and situationships where men literally thought with their 🍆 and thought they could just walk all over their partners. Now this sounds traumatic and there were definitely more heartfelt stories but honestly, the women behind these stories just continued to outshine the chaos!

I hated seeing these characters go thru what they went thru but I absolutely loved watching them find their inner strength, standing 10 toes strong and taking back their power! Even if that meant losing their partner, walking away from abuse or managing their partners secrets (for their benefit). Oh, and you will cackle!!!! When I say there was one story that had me in tears🤣 I love love this collection so much!!! Thank you again to the author for your words and sharing this with us! I cannot wait to read more from this author. She’s got her debut novel coming out this year and I will absolutely be adding that to my TBR!!!

I knew this collection was going to be a wild ride from the first story! This book is certainly a page turner and if we learn anything about men from it is that they have the AUDACITY!

There are so many outlandish behaviors exhibited by men in these stories but honestly none of them shocked me. As. Heterosexual woman myself, I have experienced… men 😭

Overall, this book was a lot of fun to read and reminds us to make sure we have our stuff together, no matter how cushy life may seem. I think the only thing I didn’t particularly like was that a lot of the stories were written in second person. It was effective for some but it got to be hard to distinguish the stories after a while. But that also could have been intentional because all these different women dealing with men got burned by them in one way or another making it a universal experience and… well. I’ll leave it there 😘

WOW- this is an outstanding collection.

You know how sometimes the book title of a short stories collection is just one of the story titles, and not necessarily an indicator of the collection as a whole? Well, you need to be prepared that this book title is indeed an indicator of the collection. The endless audacity of these men!

This was a messy and infuriating read- but also captivating and, at times, funny. A+ writing and creativity from Kuku. I have an eARC of her debut novel which comes out later this year and cannot wait to read it now.
