A cute and funny read, and the humor mined from Frederick's and most other vampires' lack of conversance with modern society consistently cracked me up. However, Cassie felt immature at times, the world-building concerning vampiric society became sketchier as the story went on, and the romance failed to convince me.

A solid 3.5 stars for me - it was goofy and fun and predictable, the audiobook had me laughing out loud at multiple points throughout the book! Would recommend for an easy, low-stakes romcom ✨
