This was great but dare I say too long?
In the first book I wasn’t sure how I felt about the ties to R&J but now that I’ve done the whole series, I think I’m ok with it. I think it classifies as more of a fan fic that took a few elements and then just ran in a completely different direction. And on the whole, I think I do appreciate the additional commentary on Shanghai in the 20s.
The ending was perfect.
