I feel like

Violet’s wanderlust was never addressed (seems like she would want to travel now that her mom is holding her to the town, but it’s clear Eli wants to settle down in the town with his family)

and I think Eli let

Violet off way too easily with her thinking he would sabotage her with the pictures like that.

But I liked the writing style so I will give the rest of the series a try.

this was such a fun read, it had everything that i love in a good romcom. old school rivals who meet in their new workplace and decide to have a pact that benefits both, while still pretending they hate each other, when that's not true at all.

 Eli and Violet were made for each other. They are lucky they figured that out before they killed each other. The elements of small town living really made it an entertaining read.
