I think this is the first graphic novel that I not only loved the art style, but I understood and THRIVED on the story. Roller derby is so cool, and this explains it and has the ins and outs about its rules, terminology, and relationships. It was cut-throat and cute all at once and the core friendship and how it ran its course....LOVE this.

Another actually well paced first volume. Cute and not super deep but great colourful art and fun recognizable characters if you’ve ever done the derby thing.

Great comic that captures the spirit and feeling of roller derby.

Some parts were a little hard to follow, but overall I liked the art and the story! Roller derby looks so cool, and I can’t wait to see what happens in the second volume!
