This book definitely captures the exciting world of roller-derby! Beautiful illustrations which really brought the world of the derby track to life. Having zero knowledge of how roller derby works, I did get very confused about the rules and it would have been nice to hear them a bit earlier as opposed to 3/4 of the way through the book. Then again, it was great seeing Masie and Jen slowly start to come into their own as they became confident on the track.

This is the first graphic novel I have ever read cover to cover & I did so in like 25 minutes. It's gripping and funny and heart warming.

Such a good dive into roller derby culture, very glad to have read it! Definitely one of the beat graphic novels I've read.
