I will say I liked her other book better, and I found this to be predictable. I was about 50% in when I knew what was going to happen and how the story would end.
That said it was a fast easy read, and worth the read if you are looking for a good plate cleanser.

Not a fan of this book, I found the characters rather 2D and the plot to be redundant as well as filled with reductive tropes that were not well done. I enjoyed her other book much more

This was such a fun and captivating book. I loved following Georgia May in her path to self discovery and growth that she didn't know she needed. The story was dramatic and I love all the tantalizing secrets that are dangled to keep us reading! A restart, a refresh; this book allowed Georgia to find things missing in her life, learn about her past and let it help determine her future. And the romance was slowburn and I enjoyed how it progressed without any compromise from the characters. Filled with the perfect pinch of magic to keep things interesting and endear the characters even more to the readers. And it made me so HUNGRY!

I read and listened to the audiobook and I definitely recommend either way to enjoying this book. Especially with a smattering of French phrases and terms, the audiobook did a wonderful job with the French accent and telling the story in a lovely way.

Thanks to Berkley for the free book!

𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗜𝗣𝗘 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗔 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗠𝗘𝗗 𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗘 𝗯𝘆 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻 blends contemporary romance with a hint of magical realism, creating a delectable tale of self-discovery and second chances. Georgia May Jackson's journey from a Parisian kitchen to a quaint island near Seattle is filled with heartache, hope, and unexpected twists.
