Short Review: My husband loves cheesecake, but strawberries instead of cherries, and this book had a good recipe for some cheesecakes :D I hate Hanna thou and i have both the dudes stuck in this triangle, which by the end of this book has become a square. One of these men need to get some self respect and tell Hanna, either you marry me and never even talk to that other dude, or i'm cutting you from my life, no man with respect for himself would let himself get treated this way. God Hanna, please stop being this "slut". They did the whole fake gun gets switched with a real gun death in this book *boring*.
Spoiler
And the reasoning behind the killings? The dude didn't get a part in a movie.... wtf. Again, be a man and move on!Misc.
Book Boyfriend: NOT A SINGLE PERSON
Best Friend Material: Tracey or the cat.
Ugh. It's like watching an episode of the bachelorette. Now an old friend from college is in town to fawn over Hannah. Barf.
The second the death in this book happened, I knew who was responsible. Too easy.

Everything that I said in my "Key Lime Pie" review (#9 in the series, and the only other one I read) goes for this one as well, except it's even worse. The two guys falling over themselves to marry her are joined by a third(!), and the titular murder doesn't happen until the book is half over. The dust jacket is again superb, though.

3.5 stars on this one. At least the love triangle and the cat were less present.
Another good one. This series really makes me wish I was a baker and skinny. I can't even experiment for fear of creeping pounds. Everyone gets their 15 minutes of fame and Hannah adds a third beau.
Well, I wanted to see how Hannah replied to that cliffhanger and I was disappointed. I just don't love the love triangle. And even though this one started with a murder, it doesn't technically happen for quite a while in the book so I felt like there was just too much non-mystery stuff going on. And the killer was way too obvious this time. ::shrug::

Cherry Cheesecake Murder is my favorite Hannah Swenson book so far. Although the murder was described in the prologue, when it came along i was still intrigued. Despite the fact that the murder takes place over half way through, it gives every character more development to wait that long, while focusing on Hannah’s family and romantic relationships. This cozy series is addictive, and I can’t wait to keep going!
