My favorite part of these books is probably the way the protagonist makes semi-erudite references that go over most of the other characters' heads.
Love these cozy little murder mysteries. Good recipes and cute stories.

I like these books because they are quick, entertaining who-dun-it mysteries. However, some of the plot line is pretty hard to believe. What woman has 3 relationships going at the same time, 2 simultaneous proposals, and the men are all okay with this? I just don't understand how she can get jealous of the men talking to other women. It makes NO sense.
In this one, a film crew comes to Lake Eden and brings an old friend of Hannah to town, creating now a quadrangle of some sort with Hannah, Mike, Norman and the newcomer. The mystery is pretty slim, I knew the culprit mid way through the book and I think it's time for Hannah to choose between her suitors because it's getting a little old as a plot. It will take a while before I read Key Lime Pie Murder. I'm not that eager to read it.

It's always exciting when your hometown is picked for a movie location. It's interesting to see the local places transformed and see the actors milling about your favorite hang out. And it's even more intriguing when a murder takes place right there in front of the cameras. Hannah sets to work trying to figure out what really went down while making your mouth water with the descriptions of her baked goods. (I'd recommend the Chocolattas! They are delicious!)

I love that this book took place with Lake Eden as a Movie Setting! I also fell in love with Ross! What a great THIRD MAN for Hannah to date. Again I was at the edge of my seat throughout this book and couldn't wait to reenter Lake Eden! And the Cherry Cheesecake and Mini Cherry Cheesecake recipes make my mouth water!!!!!!
