This book was so funny and cute the couple in this book did not hold anything back. The female took no crap and was so headstrong I was what is going to come out her mouth next like she stood toe to toe with Callum. The book was wild and sexy like I was waiting for the other shoe to fall. I can’t wait to see more of these in the next story. #bookstagram #books #bookworm #booklover #bookish #bookaddict #bookaholic #bookblogging #booktok #igreads #insttabooks #booksbookboooks #kindlepaperwhite #bookobsessed #bookstagrammer

As usual, this author knocks the banter, the tension, the spice, out of the park. I was thoroughly entertained the entire time I was reading this. Was I surprised that Callum was a little nutty? No. I started putting the pieces together almost immediately. Did it have me giggling and swinging my feet anyway? Definitely.

Yet still, my favorite thing she does is weaving old characters into new stories. I fell in love with her as a writer reading her Beautiful Cruel series and I always get so excited when one of Black boys appear somewhere else. It brings me an unexplainable feeling of excitement when they show up and the worlds in stories I love from this author are connected.

I’m excited to see where these new characters appear in this world, again. And I’m obviously excited to see the Thirteen again. Hopefully someday we get a book with all of them, at the same time.

Good grief Emery is annoying. I am not sure I liked her at any point. Callum carried this book. Even though he is a crazy, obsessive stalker, he is generous and considerate and so dang endearing. Only in a fictional setting would I be swooning over such elaborate treachery. The red flags are all flying. Literally. But I don’t care. I love him.

The story had me intrigued, the plot was creative, and the banter was hilarious. Thankfully, all of that weighed more than my annoyance with Emery and I was still able to go 4 stars.
