Sadly not my favorite in the series excited for Flor and Tia's books though, one step closer to R'jaal
these all sort of blend together, but i was excited to read daisy's story because of her traumatic injury in the last book.
i loved seeing daisy grow. o'jek pissed me off a bit, especially because it seems like daisy was pulling her weight by taking care of the kids. as if we haven't seen other women in this series who don't like hunting or manual labor.
it all turned out okay in the end. but c'mon.

I was excited for Daisy's story but was little bit let down. I guess I was expecting something completely different. Though I am excited for Flor and story.
Trigger Warnings: are in the front of the book

Boy were these two annoying as hell. We had to listen to Daisy say over and over again "I want a baby but he doesn't really want me". Then we had to hear him say "I want a mate but she doesn't really want me". And then there's the trope that I absolutely despise: one pushing away the other because of something that might or might not ever happen. By the end I wanted both of them to be eaten by a tentacle monster.
Did Ruby make me understand why Daisy is a prissy, lazy bum? Yes. Did Ruby make me sympathize with her for that? Yes she did.
And yet it was still a story that I was not invested in.

Daisy’s Decision is book fifteen in the Icehome series by Ruby Dixon. This series needs to be read in order.
Daisy has been the frivolous character since the moment she was droped off on Not-Hoth. She’s absorbed in her looks and doesn’t contribute; except to babysit the kids. I really didn't care for her, but now I get to see her thoughts.
Daisy is still a bit naive when the story starts, but I she does grow and learn. It’s a start. Oh my sweet sweet O’Jaks. He’s so sweet, but he does hurt Daisy with his rejection. Both do silly things and both needed to grow up some, but in the end they get their stuff together and have their HEA.
The story is told in both Daisy and O’jaks POV’s. I like that about Dixon’s Sci-Fi Romance novels.
Daisy Decision was another enjoyable read. Icehome is like a long-running alien soap opera. The series continues to be enjoyable and I like returning to the Icehome world.

I love not Hoth but Daisy really challenged that 😅 she is a whiney shallow character. I am hands down team O’jek and he is waaaay too good for her. She reminded me of that SisterWife on TLC that’s always crying. 🤷🏻♀️ 2 ⭐️ 3 🌶️
