Bear is such a unique character. This book was so good, but I felt like all the characters in this series act exactly the same. Ti shouldn’t act exactly like Rae, and then Bear goes off and does exactly the same thing to Ti as King did in his first book. It wasn’t a unique storyline, but I connected and I thought it was good.

Holy Crap!!! Ok so this is Bear's book (you so have to read King & Tyrant first, TRUST me)This is an amazing read. Full of laughs, passion, and yet there is drama & heartache too.
oes at times.
Thia is a young girl/woman that meets Bear under unlikely circumstances. When everything goes so totally wrong in her life, she runs to the one person that promised her they would be there for her. A perfect stranger. A man who she shouldn't have anything to do with. A man that has his own secrets & demons.

Bear is a young man that has faced the ugly in life for his whole life. That has never changed. He has had to face evil, ugly, painful choices and as a result, has demons that no one should have.

This isn't a standard love story. In fact, I am hard pressed to call it a love story rather than a story of pain & heartache that happens to have just enough love & redemption to give you hope. Kinda like life does at times.

Bear....There is just something about this man that I fell in love with when I read King and Tyrant. He is a ruthless, stubborn, filthy mouthed, Lawless beast of man. Sighhhhh

While you can read Lawless as stand alone, it is recommended that you read King And Tyrant to appreciate and understand the background story of what happened with Bear and why he is so lost in himself. He doesn't know what to do. He doesn't know who he is anymore. Until one thing that was meant as a joke comes barreling in from 7 years ago.

This book.... THIS MOTHER EFFING BOOK... It messed with my emotions something fierce. As I am sitting here writing this. I don't even know how to describe the emotions. I should have expected it after reading the first two books in this damn series. T.M. Frazier is mad women with a fucked up mind, but god damn do I love it!

While I kind of felt like Thia story was a little stretched, and I know there had to be a reason that she would get in contact with him again, I'm sure as hell glad that she did. The things this girl went through makes you want to just cry for her and kill some god damn people! But she is a tough cookie.

Again, I can't even describe what I am feeling for this book. I am book hungover. I have read all three of these books in the last few days and just am in such a fucked up frame of mind. I need to find something to read that is a sappy love story just to keep me grounded from reading this fantastic books!

Can we talk about that cliffhanger though? UGH.. ahdfjsd;legs;lfhsd;fed. It makes so pissed off. She would leave it hanging like that. I don't think Soulless is going to be here fast enough. I cannot wait until January. What the hell am I supposed to do until then. I NEED MORE BEAR IN MY LIFE!
