Last book in the series and definitely the worst.
Can’t get any more stupid than this.

Some of the featuring attributes of this book are:
• instant obsession that needs to be mentioned to us twice per chapter because 0 actions
• decisions that make 0 sense for someone who supposedly runs a successful business and is a ruthless CEO (again only words, no action)
• a heroine so strong, independent and down to earth that lives in a luxury apartment with magical low rent, cares so much for “family” that abandons common sense and survival instincts entirely and starts a business from the ground up while having zero funds (kinda like a self made kardashian)
• non existent chemistry
• a transition from fake to real relationship as smooth as my legs the day after shaving

I mean romance novels rarely are realistic but at least they’re not that stupid, If that sounds like a fine time to you then by all means go ahead.

Twisted Lies by Anna Huang is a delightful addition to the Twisted series and quickly became my second favorite in the collection. The book delivers a perfect mix of witty banter, sizzling romance, and a wonderfully possessive hero who keeps the tension high and the pages turning.

Huang's writing brings Stella and Christian's story to life with both charm and intensity, creating a lighthearted yet gripping read. Overall, Twisted Lies is an engaging finale that fans of the series will thoroughly enjoy. It combines all the elements that have made the Twisted series a standout—dynamic characters, emotional depth, and a story that keeps you hooked until the very end.

It was fine. Just okay.

Way too long unnecessarily. Too cheesy.

Had no clue who julian was. Too many post credit scenes to this book. Wasn’t invested in the stalker thing nor the family drama nor the mole in harpers business.

Loved having the gang all together and liked the couple enough to struggle through their repetitive emotional turmoil but AT WHAT COST?! It took 2 months to get through all their bull****
