I was pulled into the story right away, and the narrator was amazing. This may be suggested as YA suspense but I would say more New Adult.  It has some hard situations, and trauma for characters. But was so good imo.

Absolutely a must read! Fast paced and had me on the edge of my seat - I couldn’t put it down. The story is amazing and the plot twists were so good, plus I loved reading the work of an indigenous author!

I actually highly recommend listening to the audiobook of this because it contributes to the experience. The narrator really pulled me into the story of this book, and what a story it was. There are so many layers to this story, and they were expertly executed. This is sort of young adult crime fiction, featuring the Native American culture in Northern Michigan. 

The beginning starts a bit slow, but once the mystery picks up, you won't be able to put this book down until the end. Definitely keep an eye out for it when it comes out in March!
