I love this book. It's enticing and fun, while being inspiring and informative. The storyline is so well done, the layers of teh story and characters is great. I cannot recommend this book enough, it's a new classic.

I am obsessed with this book. It’s so so good. The storytelling. The learning of Ojibwe culture. The fast paced last parts of the book. So good.

Man, what a great read. The story was incredible, and I found myself thinking about it throughout the day. Also a nice introduction to indigenous culture of the Great Lakes region, with some thought provoking commentary on the history and remnants of racism and oppression of native peoples. It’s YA, but so sophisticated and well-done. Would love to read more by this author.

Daunis is smart, funny, and determined. It was an amazing story filled with mystery and suspense and a dash of romance and humor. And the plot twists 🤯
Some parts were a little slow but I can't wait to read more from this author!
